the pineapple wasn't actually placed IN the tip jar but instead left next to it. it made a better photo w it in the tip jar.

it was a great gig w an appreciative audience sitting outside in an area they have fenced off in front of the place. they serve food and have a half dozen fine brews on tap. ($2 pints...band drinks free).

decent paying gig....they hire musicians for their special events where they donate 10% of their daily profits to local shelters and other community programs.

i did it last week with Mere Mortals (bluegrass band) and it was also a blast. i think i need to get us on a supermkt tour!

Vibraphone. It's a VIBRAPHONE....NOT an xylophone!

Now, everyone say it with me ... "vibraphone".

If I had a pineapple for everytime I've had to explain that and the difference between the two, well .....I'd have a lot of  pineapples!
