A few mos back i picked up a lovely 1975 Guild D50. Well, lovely except for the truss rod cover that was cracked. So I had an ebony truss rod cover made with a mother of pearl Guild "shield" logo. It was done by WEC Inlay http://www.wecinlay.com/ (no financial interest).

Scott was a pleasure to work with...sent me the first one in just over a wk. The M.O.P. he used was a real light and bright white which didn't match up w the old and faded logo on the headstock. He redid it tout de suite and it looks great.

different Guild. that was a newer GUILD GAD F140RCE that went to the fiddle gal in Mere Mortals. their import line (chinese but GREAT and impressive quality). We played a most enjoyable gig last night and that gtr continues to impress me.

i picked this older one up a cpl of mos later for myself after suffering badly from G.S. A. (Guild seperation anxiety).
