[b]Hi, i live kind of in between worcester providence and boston..looking for musicians in that general vicinity (less than hour and maybe we can figure out how to meet in the middle if nec.) who want to play blues/blues tinged rock played by the grateful dead/jerry garcia band.- we could jam it out and make it our own. i am a blues harp player, vocalist (though love to sing backup and share), mando player and hack acoustic rythm guitar player. been wanting to put this together for years....seeking..lots of things- guitar (lead/rhythm), bass, percussions, keys...what have you. electric and if we want some acoustic ....want to mainly jam and have fun but certainly open to some gigging if the groove is going the right way. age doesn't matter- some chops on your instrument, as well as, a.fun and an adventurous spirit to play these great tunes and there are ridiculous amounts of them/

I'd advise you to go look for jams in your area where you can meet others of a like mind. Facebook and Meetup are always listing jams in the various music groups. I don't remember any, offhand, in the MetroWest area, but there are many up my way listed regularly, and I have talked to people at open mics who do the same thing in informal get-togethers that are not advertised. The best way to find people is to get out there, not just sit around posting online.
