Blues legend BB King died last night in Las Vegas at age 89.

I guess we all knew it was coming, he had health problems for the past few years, mostly stemming from diabetes, he could barely walk and was helped onstage when I saw him in 2006 at his Indianola Birthday Festival.

Still dad to see him go...

The thrill is gone...

The thrill, indeed, is gone. I understand that for the last several years he's barely been playing during his concerts.

one of the greats is gone. i saw him at the FOX Theatre in St. Louis. also on the bill was Albert King and Bobby Blue Bland.

i wonder how many bands will be playing "The Thrill Is Gone" this weekend. i'm guessing a lot. i know we will be.
