Hi all,

I just want to tell you all a little bit more about we are creating here in Utah, at Espresso Yourself Gourmet Café. My wife is from NY and I am from Seattle. So we are bringing a big city coffee shop/café to Utah County (and soon all over Utah). And in doing that, we are hosting Open Mic Night every Friday night to provide a platform for all artists to express themselves/their passions (hence the name “Espresso Yourself”).

Also, just so you all know, we kick off Open Mic night with Java Talk. It is very similar to TED Talks (http://www.TEDTalks.com). You may have heard of TED Talks before. But if you haven’t, I highly recommend checking them out. They are short talks about Technology, Entertainment, and Design (including all kinds of interesting topics). Basically it is an opportunity for a person/speaker to share an idea that they feel is worth sharing, whether they are an expert in the field or just passionate about the topic. We have started this because it is our desire to make our world a better place. And we believe that is done by sharing knowledge.
