Let's Jam!

Since I'm always on tour, it seems like a good idea to try and connect with bandmix bandmates as I travel. Just finished Tennessee but currently in Gnashville going to Evansville & St Louis this week, and then next week all over Illinois. Any suggestions for blues jams or open mics or whatever in those areas?
It would be good if everyone had a place to post where their gigs and/or jam sessions are happening. Let this thread be that place. Simply post where you're playing so other band mixers know about it.
What's up with you?

I invited one to jam two weeks ago. He deleted his account and immediately moved to Iowa. I seem to have this effect on people.

Ted, i appreciate that you're one of the folks around here who tries to maintain the sense of community and brotherhood that we all share as musicians. It doesn't matter if we're out there gigging or just sitting around the house and strumming.... this is a magical and special thing all we're lucky enough to have in common.

Ted
If you are in Greater Atlanta area give me a holler. Have the gear and can hit it at my hovel.
Then hit the town if you like - my neck of the woods (Roswell) is good for that.

Amen, bru!
Life's too short to hold bitterness against someone who has a different opinion. I reserve the right to be wrong until proven otherwise, btw.
Call me naive, but I think (song)writers have a responsibility to rise above the acrimony and change the world into what it needs to be.

You guys are busy.....rock on!
Usually that would be on the way for me touring through the midwest, but I'm coming to St Louis from the east on this trip so I probably won't make it to Columbia...but now I know where to find you. I never know where my agent is going to put me next...but we're working our way north from (now) Tennessee to Minneapolis and eastward.
Plan to go see Jimmy in April sometime....

I used to go to Atlanta a lot, but haven't been there in a while now. That ought to change.
Thanks for the reminder that we need to hit this on the way back home in the summer. We WILL jam, brother. I can hardly wait

Was in Phoenix looking to jam only last November. Went to a place downtown called Copper Top (I think?) There is a band called "Living Legends" (I think?) that was doing a "sing with the band" night. Got up and sang some Zep, Beatles, and a few blues tunes with them...they acted surprised that I can rock.
People look at me like they think I can't tie my shoes.....that is the effect I have on people.

Ted, if you make it to Houston give me a call you still have my number right? If I'm not gigging perhaps we could sit around and jam on acoustics or find an open mic night they're always going on around here!

Thanks for the invite! I'm going home for Passover and there might be something in Houston while I'm there. I'll be sure to let you know...

Ted - next time you're planning on nearing the Boston area let me know ahead of time, I know our timing didn't work out last year.
