I have been working on some polka type stuff. Problem is I just can't tell polka from waltz from whatever. Is there something about certain time signatures? I know the Jimi Hendrix song, Manic Depression is one of the two. It's in 3/4, so it's really a unique rock song.

spice it up with some Beguine rhythm, and season with a touch of Merengue, a garnish of Montuno and this would be a medley at the end of your tune.. :|
