for those that have never learned music as in standard notation, you have a 3/16 note a 1/16 note 1/8 note 1/8th note, 1/8th note 1/8th note, and then 4 straight 1/16th notes with the sideways V's being accents

it really is easier than it looks.. count out your "beat" in 1/16th note speed, roll it out as,
one-uh-and-uh-two-uh-and-uh-three-uh-and-uh-one uh.. so on , and so forth , repeat .. 2/4 time
