I portrayed the role of Deputy Governor Danforth in The Crucible by Arthur Miller.
As the story goes, Abigail Williams was accused of the crime of Witchcraft. The courts of Puritan Era America decided that the decedents of the Mayflower Voyage were crazy. They sentenced them all to death.
Williams was unable to prove actual paranormal ability. She was convicted of prostitution.

There is a popular film with a similar name.
They introduced new American Music to the minds of the populace. Things began to heat up. A crucible is a melting-pot. It turns metal molten.

All the Foreign Languages in America begin to jumble together... Illiteracy holds reign...Retardation becomes common... The continent is overrun with violence... Homicide... The End of the World...
