I run a very succesful music teaching studio on Transit Road in Clarence NY. We are searching for family friendly guitar instructors. We pay the best in town. A great "in between gig" job. Low stress, very rewarding. Contact Robert Johnson at Pro Music Lessons 459-8030, or 812-0240 if interested.

While we're on the subject, though, I just gave my two weeks notice at my job. I've got a bad knee and my job has a lot of walking to it and on top of that, I slipped while dragging a couple of tree limbs downhill in my yard two weeks ago and fell on my bad leg and now it's really hurting to do that much walking. Anyways, I'm finishing up remodeling my studio and will be giving guitar lessons mostly to kids. Everybody around here knows me and has been asking me for years about lessons, but my schedule was always so different, I couldn't set any set time and now I can. Getting the students will be no problem, but I'm wondering if any of you have given lessons and have any tips on the subject. I won't be teaching music as I play by ear, just guitar and bass lessons. I might also give lessons on running live sound. Any help is truly appreciated. Dang! I think this is the first serious response I've given on here. Won't happen again, I promise. :)

I wanted to apologize for falling on my fake leg and breaking it, again. The cream cheese that ooozed out was not my leg, but my lunch as I was storing it in the fake leg.

I will sick from work from here on in. Please send my checks home.
My chronic flatulence is not better yet, so please do not smoke around me unless we are in open air. lol

I was thinking about giving lessons.../not sure about what kind yet.

I might give lessons on plugging in cords to equipment and what not.

I am generally not serious and I believe that those are the responses that are the best.. lol
