General Music Chat

This has been a rebuilding year for us with several personnel changes, a change in focus, a name change, and only a few paid gigs here and there. We now have 4 guys who know their instrument well, sing well, and do their homework. Yay! Last night we went through 90% of our set and everything sounds really good. The groove locks-in from the first measure and the band sounds pretty hot. I think we are ready.

The gig is a holiday party for a company that we have a relationship with and they do a lot of entertaining so we hope to continue to work with them. Looking forward to this. Time to put the feelers out and start filling our calendar for next year.

Fun show! We recorded some vid and got some pics so hopefully we will have something to share in a few days. My impression is that we were a little stiff first set, absolutely killed the second set, and were a little loose the 3rd set. Several magic moments and a few "huh, what was that?" moments. Fat fingers suck.

So good to be playing again with the drummer I grew up with. We speak the same musical language completely.
