Hey so I just wanted to get some opinions. What does everyone think about "Bitter Jazz"? We're a swing jazz/vintage rock band. Guitar, alto sax, tenor sax, drums, electric bass, and soprano female vocalist. Based on the name alone, would you go see this band? Also, attire wise how's a plaid gray suit with a tie to match the singer's dress? We're trying to establish a recognizable image.

sounds to me, like a nice Paisley shirt would be in order, and would :) :) fit the stage clothes perfectly..

I like it. Do the quotation marks stay? Can we hear your band? Sounds interesting.

Jazz and "vintage rock"? Every time I look, someone has come up with a new genre! Do you mean OLDIES rock, like 50s do-wop, or what? 'Bitter Jazz' would not indicate the rock side.
As to the outifts .... well .... if you want to be known as the clowns in the plaid suits with the good singer .... Seriously, conservative solid-color suits or jackets, so that the singer stands out as the LEAD person. Unless of course, you are combining a whole 'stage show' with the music (prancing, dancing, posing...)
