I've always leaned toward Martin Luther's description of the Christian "any job." If a Christian does it - it glorifies God (or should). So my own often dark music must always be the best I can possibly do.

That said, I've been drafted as back up bass player by our churches musical director. I've also played at two other churches - the medley in Boise which concluded with Ode to Joy being my hands-down favorite so far.

From the 'all things work together for good' category - I've so far talked to the drummer about helping with some tapes, and I plan to snare a violin too! :D

Many of us do regular worship and outreach in our musical experiences. For some it is their primary calling. Get local and really get to know the musicians near you. Andy Boettner is an excellent resource in Costa Mesa.
