The little bit I have heard is not very exciting - background ambient instrumental stuff.

I was really hyped up for new Pink Floyd, twenty years ago. What a disappointment. I was a true fan of their previous album, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason, but The Division Bell was just awful. The concert was a bust, as well. After hearing for years, about how they put on the best show ever, best light show ever. It was neither. It was just some wanking off in a football stadium.
That's where I stand on this "Pink Floyd" album. I'll put in my Live At Pompeii DVD, instead.

Being the lyrical and musical icons that they are...this is disappointing.....ok but not the Floyd you expect to challenge the bad in the world as they have done before. I know Muse do that but the message aint realy getting out there...

Yeah, watched it yesterday. The DVD has the original film. Haven't watched the new "director's cut" version, but the reviews on Amazon were pretty brutal. My 3 year old son was pretty tripped out by the video, needless to say.
