:lol: Yes, we have it all. That I-17 parking lot routine happens yearly in Flagstaff. Our transportation department, ADOT only cares about the Phoenix metro area. We're in the top 3 states for hypothermia, because it's so warm in the daytime, then boom! You're freezing! I think the best way to think of it is in the movie, Vacation. Chevy Chase straps the dead old lady to the roof of the station wagon and says, " It's Phoenix, what is it gonna rain?". :lol:

in 1968 I was visiting my aunt and uncle who lived near Kingman, Az. - a trailer park for retirees out smack in the middle of the deset, they got their water from a stock tank used to water cattle, Ben, my aunt's father (not by blood) would sleep in man-made mud puddles at night to stay cool, although the desert air mauny times produces cool nights even in mid-summer.. copper mines, were cool, and the Walapi mountains were chilly when it was 100 deg. + on the desert floor, and you could fish for trout and pay by the inch ..if you trout was 12 inches long, you owed $1.20 :D
