New venue for us Shawnee Bluff Winery Lake Ozark MO....weather in the 70's, cool place, and an attentive and appreciative audience. what more could ya ask for? Played our first gig there Sunday and we've been asked backed for another gig tomorrow.

what...you think gtr players are the only ones who need to be 25 db louder than everyone else in the band???!?!?!?!?!

i think the disparity in the volume you are hearing is because the mrs. was standing closer to the vibes and the PA spkr that was amplifying them. we only had vibes and vcls in the PA. several folks (including some musicians) w ears that i trust gave us the thumbs up on the mix.

ironically we recorded a cpl more songs yesterday (uploading to youtube now) and the one w me on gtr...well, the gtr could have been louder. DOH!
