Does anyone here compose/record/perform instrumentals other than Metal or Rock?
I'm talking of the kind of song where one acoustic guitarist can sit down and entertain an audience . . .
. . . any style, really . . .
Anyone?

i have six (non rock/non metal) instrumentals on my profile page. before i got so lazy i used to rotate out the (instrumental) music on my page. these days.....hardly seems worth the bother.

they're not straight up solo acoustic gtr pieces (though some were conceived that way).

i used to play a lot of three hr solo gtr winery/restaurant gigs playing 90% or so of my originals tunes on a nylon string Godin and a jazz box.

now, for some REALLY cool and totally happening instrumental music in a non rock/non metal vein.....Vinny's stuff is scary good and unbelievably creative....as well as being skillfully and artfully played.

I love a good, creative instrumental . . .
I've written about 20 songs with lyrics, but most of my songs are instrumentals.
If the song is cool, or interesting, or a little different, then I don't want to cover up the instruments with any vocals.
I can get lost in a good instrumental.
I'm not sure how popular instrumentals are, nowadays . . . .
