What is important to you as a musician for a Social Media site dedicated to musicians to have? Are you currently on a social media site? Do you have to pay for the site?
Thanks
Corey

No matter what the site, they all point to the same thing: it's just an online location to host your music/video/blog. Promotion, marketing, spreading the word, still needs to be done by the band/artist.
Music-playing sites like Pandora and Spotify will get your music played by potential fans that haven't heard of you, but either you pay to get on them (Spotify) or have to 'get lucky' to be accepted at places like Pandora (and other streaming 'radio' stations).

Long term stability and support by the masses. Remember Myspace? Remember Geocities?
