You guys already know how I feel about covers.
But this one was kinda fun to play / record with Krista Beck on vocals.

George.
Great job. I genuinely liked the performance. Loved the singer too. To me the band is starting to gel more and sort of anticipate each other. However I didn't feel like the drums had quite caught the urgency and punch of the song - coould be mixed a tad higher too for my taste. But still quite enough. There were parts I particularly liked when guitars and bass were just parts of the whole and snappin'!

Thanks Mike . . . appreciate the props and comments.
Recording and mixing drums seems to be our arch nemesis.
Still, all in all, it was a fun night of recording.

All set to listen to it this morning (assuming its different than the video posted on FB last week), but RN is all messed up this morning, no player action.
WOOHOO - 5 day weekend for me! Too bad its so frickin' hot and humid. Already 81F at 7:30am. Maybe some of you southern/Texan boys like this stuff, but I've got Canadian ice in my veins!

We like to BS about the heat . . . but we don't really like it either.
It's the same mp3 Mike as was posted on Facebook.
Should have some more stuff ready to release when we get back for our BWAM audition in Nashville on Monday.

RN is working again, listening to it now. is Krista going to be a regular 'guest' for you guys? Her voice really fronts the band's sound well.

Yes indeed.
Krista will be working with us on a regular basis.
She does not want to be a "member" of the band due to her personal relationship with "JAX".
She does not want to risk mixing personal with 'business' relationships for fear of doing harm to the and and our mission.
She will be 'fronting' and doing BUV in studio, as well as on the road, depending upon the music selections / type of show we are performing.
IE Godrock concert vs a 'praise n worship' set.
