Musician Forum - Band Discussion Board - BandMix

Last night was the 5th OM I've hosted. Getting many people coming back and some new folks each time (last night that included a singer/guitarist I contacted through Bandmix profiles).
The bar is happy because they're making good money (players and friends who like to drink is a PLUS!)
Doing a lot of behnd the scenes work - inviting people, craigslist ads, facebook event, etc, and at the OM I'm talking to all participnats, taking photos and videos and posting those on FB after the event. Not sure if its more work than doing a solo show or not.

The good thing is I am making money doing it. By the end of July, will have enough earned to buy some small (but adequate) powered PA speakers of my own. Already added to my equipment pile with a new vocal mic, cables, another mic stand, acoustic guitar preamp/DI, couple of stage lights.
