I like "The Descent". It's pretty good, and it's in meter, which will make it easier for someone to step in and help make a song out of it.
One piece of advice, as you become a songwriter.
Don't ever put yourself too close to the song, that you can't collaborate or take healthy criticism. That is a definite sign of immaturity as an artist. Be open minded about your co-writer's suggestions. Try their idea out a few times, before just dismissing it. Get other's opinions that have nothing to gain or lose, as a sounding board.
In this business, you will have to work with alot of different personalities. Decide now, to do that professionally, and with an open mind, so you don't burn any bridges before you have even walked across them!
