Please help this new member--how do I advertise for a musician? Here is my profile message: Seeking a musician (guitar or ?) for a ~ 1 hour private session to celebrate a 24th wedding anniversary on South Padre Island, TX. Just my wife and me in our rented condo. We like jazz, blues, classical. Not a fan of country, western, Latin. Decades ago in Los Angeles, my wife played guitar and sang for her supper. Our anniversary is June 6. You want someone to play just for you two? (no other audience?) You could search the profiles here, but you'd need to pay for a month premium service to message anyone.
I think you would have better luck scouting your local clubs/restaurants for guys playing music that you want, then approaching them about it.
