Yeah I know . . . this ain't Facebook.
Just wanted to tell my friends what's up of late.

Working again . . . picking up one or two days a week providing home care for critically / chronically ill kids.
Due to my background and work experience most often these youngsters are on mechanical ventilation support 24/7.
More of these little guys in the community than one might imagine.

Still fighting for recovery for my father whom is in and out ( mostly in as of tonight ) of hospitalization.
This, and providing for my mother whom is quite debilitated as well is why I'm not able to schedule a full time job.

Music ( bet you were wondering when I was going to stop whining )
Going pretty good with Jericho March.
Our Nashville auditions with BWAM ( Bands With A Mission ) has been moved back into July secondary to financial issues.
With all else on my plate cannot but consider this but grace from God.
We are working hard with our new lead guitar player AJ, so we function as an entity again. Memorizing music, doing away with the music stands one song at a time . . . and a little work on new music as well.

Pulling long days 14 - 16 hrs or more, with all concerns but holding my own most of the time.

Had lyrics in my head in consideration of Mr Talbot's challenge while I was bathing this morning.
Hope some rest will revive my memory.

God bless you guys and thank you all for the support and advice I've received here over the years.

Y'all ROCK

Sounds like you have a lot on your plate(s), George. Thankfully your faith, and your love of music are sources of strength and sanity.

Eye on the prize, my friend.

And as us jazzers like to say......straight ahead. 8)

I was pretty sure that was your song George.

I just got off a thirteen hour shift trying to save our contract in a very dicey situation.

George that will kill me to see kids in that situation. May the Lord give you strength. I'm sick just thinking about it.

Much appreciate the words of encouragement and offers of assistance.
I continue at the present to spend the days at the Hospital with dad.
Today . . . he showed me a spark of his old determination.
Pray to fan the flame.

Thanks again.
God bless
