The lastest in the search ...
Posted: Sat Apr 26, 2014 10:58 pmThe guy I auditioned a week ago Friday was pretty good, has some ok equipment and a place to practice, but he's 25 miles from me. After a week he still hasn't got back to me with 10-20 songs from my list and 10 songs he wants to sing that we can really try out together (we just talked and noodled first time).
This past week, got another reply to my CL ad, this guy is closer, going to talk to him at the open mic this coming Wednesday.
Today another CL reply, another guy who seems to have a good voice from the samples he had on bandcamp. Have to figure out when I can meet up with him.
Of course in the meantime, my open mic is now a twice-a-month regular thing (yay, finally making some money!)
It never rains ... but it pours!
