Find some others around your age in your area who are relatively inexperienced, and jump on board. Go to karaoke nights and open mikes, network, sing with others. IF they say ' let's do this again', you know you've got a shot. If they don't say anything, then ...

Find others in your area that you can get together with and continue to grow and hone your abilities. Expose yourself to all types and styles of music, dont lock yourself into one genre.
Listen to "Constructive" advice, not negative comments. Practice, but most importantly HAVE FUN
