Hi everyone,

I'm J Russell Mikkelsen and I represent Yeah, Let's Go There the podcast. I found the band mix forum and thought it would be a good place to get the word out that our podcast is looking for new music and is currently accepting submissions for local and underground musicians and bands.

From now until April 4th, Yeah, Let's Go There will accept submissions from unknown and lesser known artists anywhere in the world. We've done this once before and it was a huge success, so we're throwing the word out there again. We are specifically looking for Pop styled music but we will also accept folk, Hip hop, blues, and anything instrumental.

Submit as many as you like, but I recommend you start with no more than two songs. If we don't like your style after the two tracks, it's unlikely we'll listen to more. But if we listen to two tracks and like them but don't see them working for the show, we'll ask you to submit more and hope the others are a better fit.

No videos required. Yeah, Let's Go There is strictly audio/ radio.

Actually its not clear how you want songs submitted - email is all that is listed, or your contact form. Do you want links to the songs online?

However you prefer. Email attachment or link.
We prefer by direct link to a single track. But we take all kinds.

What in the world is it you guys were worried was going to happen? You send in your music and instead of listening and evaluating whether the music fits the needs of our show, we sinisterly take our digital copies of your songs and run off into the wilderness with them, never to be heard from again...?

Honestly, I don't understand. What could possibly be the scam here?

I'm not so very paranoid. I'm thinking of sending you a tune.

Please be understanding - our songs are like children to us. I've raised mine to be pretty self reliant so I'll send it out shortly.

Submission deadline is April 4th, this coming Friday.
We will review and respond to ALL SUBMISSIONS. So, if you haven't heard any reply from us by April 6th, please re-submit and make clear that this is a re-submission for a failed earlier attempt.
