Just want to first...Applaud you guys for keeping a style of music alive and well.. (Southern Rock). Second...I personally really enjoyed the songs..September...and Coming Home. To intoduce myself...my name is Terry...im a drummer from VA. Who was raised on southern rock....and hold it dear to my heart. By the way...im 42...by some...old...by others..experienced..or wise...(lol)...im neither! I played until my 2nd child was born...chasing "The Dream"...but decided, until recently, to give that up and raise a family. Well...I have a wonderful 22 yr old son...and a Beutiful 20 yr old daughter. I'am now seeking to re-begin my musical carreer. And just wanted to say, that its nice to still see, my music of joice is still being played....I love your sound...love your work...and most of all....Keep going...and i really hope to hear you guys on the radio soon.
Your friend Terry

Hey Terry,

Thanks brother. Where in VA? I've lived in Arlington, VA and Manassas and Crystal City. All fairly close to DC. Lived in Washington DC for about 8 years. Used to be a bartender and worked my way up in catering to Director of Operations of a large catering company that did alot of work in the Capitol Building, Senate buildings, supreme courts etc...

In both roles, I have learned more about how these power brokers really are, than I EVER wanted to know. I could have personally destroyed several senate confirmations, just with the stuff I personally know about some of these politicans (all parties).

Like a certain Senator from Texas who was an alcoholic and had a penchant for prostitutes, especially black ones. That would have went over real well in Texas.

I've overheard several of the largest civil rights leaders cry in their scotch over how they have used their own people, rather than bringing about real change for them, all in the name of political power and filling up the bank account.

The Senator was Republican and the Civil Rights leaders were Democrats.

They all speak the same language on that level. ;-)

Great to hear

My political stance right now is...(f**k Them!)..My musical stance is simple...Like the song...These guys leave home...not by choice...but because they have too....and the Government brings them home in a flagged covered casket...(most of them anyway). And your song captures that. Liked the song...Dont like the current government....If you'd like to chat ...let me know...i'd love to hear more...Your friend in music...Terry.

Sorry to get so hyper...but..."Coming Home" hits close to home for me. I wont ellaborate here...but...to answer your question...I was born and raised in Va. A little town about 65 miles from Roanoke...One of my best memories was going to see Molly Hatchet in concert, at the Roanoke Civic Center. Back in the VERY early 80's. There opening act (38 special). Rocked the crowd...When Hatchet took the stage...they owned the place. They put on a show that cannot be described. Unless you were there. I thought those bands had faded...it was very satisfying to know...your still around. I'am slowly coming out of retirement..(Drum wise)...and WILL continue to pursue a dream of playing KICKASS Southern Rock...And bringing it to the masses....whether it be 100...10,000. Rock On! And I sincerly hope the best for you and your band mates.
