Great Gig Sat Night

I sat in with a local band that plays a lot, basically its a bass player who loves to play and sings, and he just enlist different players for whatever gig he has.

I double teamed with another guitarist from my area and we had a blast.

Great Crowd the dance floor was packed the last 2 sets, the audience was in it from the jump.

I think I may have found a musical home, every other thing Ive been trying lately, everyone want to practice practice, then 6 monthes down the road try to get a gig. This situation they dont practice, he took my song list and when he calls me he will play to my list. So its just really cool deal for me.

My drummer and I are also still looking for a shredder, Im gonna play bass and want a Vai type player to play just anything we feel like, Im back recording some of my songs, found a drummer with a studio so I can get live drums on my tracks.

So Im back in the saddle, like Ive always said, you have to get out there where people are playing, Ive befriended guys in the best rock bands in town, now when I show up they invite me to play a song or two, plus introduce me.

So musically its going real real good, and the er er er side benefits are picking up. Sat night these gals started showing thier boobs, and actually wanted to take a picture of my bald head while they circled if with thier boobs, I declined cause I really dont want something like that out there, but the bass player said I should pay you double cause you are a chick magnet! LOL!

Rock ON All!

JW - that's pretty cool!

Ron Wood plays guitar with the Stones but the best thing he ever did (in my opinion) was to play bass with Jeff Beck on Truth. Maybe a change will put you into the big time!

Although I do find having a player as good as you looking for a 'shredder' kind of strange. But since I love to play bass myself I can dig it.
