The receiver/transmitters are interchangeable -that means you've got a device with a short unbending antenna hanging off your strap or pocket. 10 meter distance - that's extrememly short and I bet when you get close to that limit the signal is suffering already. Only can use one in area - that means you can't change the frequency on them, one fixed signal only.
Samson has a similarly-priced system, but the only systems I have heard good things aobut ar ehte much higher priced Line 6, Shure and Sennheiser systems.
