This has been very interesting. This is about politics. This is about "progressive" politics against "constitutional" politics.
I am not a Tea Party member, or a great lover of FOX NEWS. Both have shown a lack of courage as have so many in office, from the Senate and Congress, right up to the individuals in command of state and local communities.
Let it be known that what bush jr did, by establishing home land security in the name of protecting all Americans established powers that limit all personal freedoms in the name of government protection. This is scary stuff, but if you approve then you can be strip searched every time you board a commercial flight. This is an agency of the government that has stockpiled more AMMO than our whole military. The power granted them even comes down to my HAZ-MAT clearance and their approval to run 1 gallon of heating oil. If I step out of line... They can yank that as "punishment".
This is just the tip of the "iceberg". What Mark has done has only proved the lengths that the progressive mind will pursue in the name of idealistic utopia, under the control of their boots. This goes against all the values and rights guaranteed under OUR constitution. If every one just wants to maintain a status quo because it is easy... Then so be it. Remember...
Freedom isn't free and it isn't always convenient. Some times it requires thought and sacrifice.
Mark, thank you for being such a willing participant in my baiting you. I have enjoyed your personal attacks tremendously. In my OPINION this is a typical progressive defense. You do this easily and with a vengeance.
By the way thanks for answering a simple question. If you are earning a living as a pro musician, KUDOS to you. There are very few that can. I have one very good friend that is an extremely talented drummer. He is gigging 2 to 3 nights a week, teaching, doing studio work continuously. His property taxes are over 10 grand a year so like everyone else he has to cover it with a job. Very FEW can say they can support themselves as a pro musician. Kudos to you, and thanks for answering a simple question.
Happy Valentines day.
