I can't contact bands unless I pay? Is there any point to using this website if I'm not a premier member? I just need to find some people to jam with!

Not many musicians are going to travel to jam anyway so why not use local outreaches. You can find some musicians by googling "area Musicians" in your area.

Bandmix is doing a lot for free. You wouldn't give it all away if this were your site would you? If you would, perhaps a lot of people would join your new site.

There are lots of ways to play the game here. Some of us are premier part of the time and part of the time not. Great search feature and so on.

Do a local search and look for profiles that have been updated within a week - any longer than that and they probably do not check here (or their email) frequently. If they don't have contact info buried in their description, they're mostly out of luck, too.

For YOUR profile:
Put your contact info in it. You need to hide your email address like 'me AT yaboo DOT com'.
Put some music in it - MP3s in the player or links to videos.

You get what you pay for.

Bandmix is like a hammer. It's only works if you know how, and are willing to swing it.
