That was really good Paul. Thanks for sharing.
Just out of curiosity... What mic are you using to record your vocals on that?
Very good recording technique in use!

Thanks Mike and Glen! I'm very happy with the end result.
Glen, this is crazy. My iPhone is all I used. The website I linked is called singsnap. They finally made an app. I literally used my iPhone 4S, on a mic stand at the park, and a pair of earbuds to make this. I was standing about 3 feet from the phone using the built in phone mic. I was on a bridge over a creek. You can hear the creek coming through at the end. I am a very loud singer so I'm not sure this would work for everyone. Mastering? Nope. All I did was record 2 or 3 takes, left the "make me sound better" option ticked (reverb and compression), and hit save. Recorded on the phone with the app and uploaded to singsnap from the phone. That's it. I'm very impressed with the app.

I am way impressed... That was a good performance, but is that phone That good that you can load a backing track and make a video that good without any editing and balance on the audio side?

It is. It's the app. You pick a song, put the ear buds in, and hit record. He can adjust the level with a slider between the vocal and the backing track. And while you are recording it really sounds fantastic. There is a thing when I am in the studio or home studio and recording vocals. If you give it compression and reverb it just sounds lush. That sound gives you that extra mojo boost of "I'm killin' this!" That can put your performance over the top.
This app does that!
I'm so impressed with it that I've been googling the app developer. I'd like to get it for myself. Meaning a separate app that utilizes the exact same programming. I want to do all my performing, recording, and editing of my song at home. Then email the track without the lead vocal to myself, open it with the app on my phone, and record the lead vocal in the same way.
