I'm about to begin releasing a single per month from the album... and hope I don't run out of em before I get the rest o the album finished lol.
I have never heard any drums in this song (title track Burnt Offerings) but am now thinking it may be somewhat lacking without them.
Do you hear any?

Missed this post (damn politcal fighting buried it). Will listen at home after work, if I remember.

The song needs some help. Sounds like you were playing in an open tuning, and sliding into chords (but not using a slide?) and it often sounds off-beat. Were you playing to a click-track? If so, then someone could add drums to it pretty easily by supplying the recording wiht click. If not, I'd suggest re-recording with drums.
The middle "couple argument" needs work, it appears suddenly and loudly - first listen I was checking my browser windows to make sure I didn't have some automatic commercial video playing in another window! Maybe adding compression to it and fading into it (and fading the music back a bit during it).

Thanks Mike. yes there is a click track. No I'm not sliding anything. The guitar track is doubled but that's it.
I've had some problems with the argument track; there is music playing low in the background and we haven't gotten it out yet.
Also it hasn't been mastered. I hope that will solve the levels to rid it of loud and low peaks.
I don't notice any timing issues on it, but my timing is not traditional to say the least lol... maybe why drummers couldn't pull my songs off and I had to buy a kit and do them mostly myself.
I just haven't heard drums in this song in my head and never thought them necessary, but am starting to think they may be.
