2014, no further
Posted: Thu Jan 02, 2014 1:58 pmHad a contact yesterday from one of my updated CL ads, supposedly a 'former frontman' who now plays guitar, and looking to join up for something. Wasn't real detailed, admitted he had nothing recorded... Will see if he gets back to me after I replied.
I decided to be presistent in my search for an acoustic band/partner for just 1 more year. It's not like I'm sitting around twiddling my thumbs while waiting. I've been networking at open mics - and although they don't pay, there's also no pressure doing them. 3-5 songs, no equipment to pack up ... Writing and recording new songs at a decent pace ... So if nothing comes together thisyear, f*ck it all, I'll just do what I've been doing and forget trying to get a paying act together.
How's that for a resolution?
