I got an email from a musician that I worked the clubs with, who now lives in Colorado, telling me recreational use of Pot was in enacted today.

He said the shops had boo-coo grades with strange names and variable prices. The lines at the shops stretched for blocks. :) Some shops had hundreds of sales in the first few hours.

I wonder how those folks are bringing in this new year....... or for that matter if they will even be aware of what year it was last year.


Maybe if they legalized it in Washington all those uptight politicians would chill out and stop with their crazy kill off America agenda for a while.

Wonder how many random drug test will get done over the next few weeks?

They won't give up "the drug war". It brings in too much revenue to otherwise poverty stricken Police jurisdictions.

I already heard cops complaining about it.

They feel betrayed; beware and be forewarned.

They plan on making you an example.

Mr Scott I don't believe the cops have as much to lose as this whole cottage industry of drug testing and rehab centers, those Drs got more money then the cops, and don't want to lose out on that income stream. I've a acquaintance here who runs about 10 minivans a week just collecting piss.

I saw a politician on the news saying that he expected it to bring in upwards of 4 billion a year in taxes to Colorado. At $100 a lid it probably would, but folks would have to smoke quite a bit for that to happen. So what happens when the illegal drug dealers see the $100 a lid price which is reportedly the same price that the illegal market suppliers charge?
Does the government ever lower its prices? Gotta love a free market system.

My buddy in AZ is involved with it already under legal guidelines.

He says it will be 60 some odd bucks an eighth if it ever becomes legal in the more common areas. (f**k that noise)

And all kinds of people are making money off of it being illegal, but the worst is our legal system. They are just f**k people over with that sh*t and it seems fairly needless to me at least.

Once you get a ticket for pot, your life in polite society is over.
No law enforcement will take you.
The military won't take you.
The border police won't take you either..

You'll never pass a security check.
You can't get secret clearance credentials.

In short they made a very big deal out of it and anyone that gets swept up in the dragnet is faqed in a very big way.

They won't stop this, they get grant monies for this sh*t.

Remember that big deal about the war on drugs?

Sheet, the govt is funding this sh*t and you know that policy makers love to get a return on their investment.

All those jail cells empty? Well that's just bad for business, you know.

Funny that people receiving free money are complaining the loudest when it comes to drug testing.
Funny that many hard working, taxpaying folks don't even think about passing a drug test... To keep their jobs.

Funny how twisted this is becoming.

YES!! And a very frightening thought when you consider that everyone who speaks out against this regime is a criminal in their eyes.

So the world is going to Hell in a hand-basket and all the media has to do is hunt down and ask the first purchaser of legalized pot what he is going to do with it. His answer was that he was going to donate it to a museum. Go figure. Be sure to watch the news. It reads more like entertainment tonight.
