now I can't use the music player to listen to other folks music on bandmix using firefox 26.0 ..IE8 still works but I hate using IE8.. any suggestions? they even made it that you can't access turning on or off javascript thru tools--> options--> etc. just like every other mofoing internet co. they keep "improving" everything until it no longer works!

I'm using Firefox 26.0 ... BM music player works fine for me ... maybe it's the Flash plugin or something?
To turn off java script .. go to TOOLS ... select WEB DEVELOPER ... TOGGLE TOOLS ... click gear tooth in left hand corner .... then on the right of the box along bottom of the page is check box to disable java.

Dane, I only said this a few times now ...
USE THIS and all you stuff will work.
https://www.qualys.com/free-tools-trials/
Load the "browser check" plugin and use it daily.
I should learn to take my own advice and I'd still have my regular computer!
I guarantee that if you use this and update what it wants, your junk will run a-ok !

I've had that product for years.. KrebsOnSecurity taught me that long time ago.. at one time Firefox disabled that plugin due to security reasons.. I see it works now w. Firfox 26.0.. BUT noticed a plug-in update for Shockwave Flash Plaher just 2 days ago 12/15 so believe that is what is causing the problem.. BandMix prolly needs to update their software...just a hunch.. never had problems ever before..never.. until then I can use IE8 to listen to other BM folks tunes..

I've got up-to-date Firefox (at home) and have no problem wiht the BM player - but Flash gives me headaches constantly, stops running, get error signal. Will start a video (youtube) and it will hang up after 15 seconds and I'll have to reload the page.

it depends on what OS you are using too I suppose.. I believe Mark said something about you tube being squirrely the other day, well, I never replied, but it was squirrelly for me too, and just recently had it started acting up, and think J7 mentioned the Windows XP drivers were maybe not current? I'm still on XP and believe a lot of the squirreliness is caused by that.. in April 2014 we are all supposed to be out of Windows XP since support is ending, and some software products have started early being dysfunctional I think if you are still using XP.. makes sense to me, but then I'm just speculating..
