I have always liked this mans music since I can remember!

Reminds me of what is going on with Tony Rice - so glad I got to see him a few years back ... dudes health aint good at all.

Our singer sang a lot of Ray's covers. I sure did like his material. Great entertainer. I hate to see him go. I had a lot of fun playing his songs.

Slack, I grew up singing his songs from about 8 years of age! I remember wearing a 45 of his version of "Please Release Me" and "For The Goodtimes"
I'll sure miss him!

In the early 90's I had a commercial booth at Old Settler Days in Olathe, Kansas. Ray was the headliner and I got to hear a number of his songs. The "country" singers today couldn't sing that well if their life depended on it.
