A vocal processor which one would you buy. Does anybody use one out there in there current setups? I'm thinking a good vocal processor might be better then a good lead singer, but I've no experience with them, but lots of experience with lead singers.

In my opinion it's phoney baloney, like autotune. I'd rather hear the real deal. Somebody that can actually sing (like me).

We have a Boss ( sorry not immediately available to recite model numbers ).
It's really nothing more than a toy.
We use it sometimes for cool effects, goofy laughs, spooky spoke lines.
As far as really utilizing it live for full vocals I'm in the camp with Bob.

The TC Helicon models are the best. A friend uses one in his solo show - but typically for only 4 or 5 songs the whole night. Use it too much and it becomes a real gimmick ("he's the guy who uses that harmonizer all the time").

Thanks I was thinking TC Helicon myself. Your right Mike 2 much is a bad thing, but it might really help on 5 or 10 songs over 4 sets.

You other guys can say what you want, I say anything to make me sound better, and it's like any equipment, you still gotta be able to play guitar to make a Les Paul sound good.

Gotta go late for my bass practice, I would have never thought that bass playing could be so enjoyable, other then the fact that mine seems a mile long and weighs in at 100 lbs or so.
