What's happening?

I have this non-musical website, Levitynews.com which I have written nearly every article on, and the most hits we ever got in a month before this November is 29,000. In November I am up to 129,000! I was told once you get to 100,000 hits per month on a website you're big time. And I can't figure out why it has exploded this month, except I put in a story a week or so ago that may have something to do with it:

Crazy. I'm going to finish the month at well over 155000 hits. Now if I can just put out a CD that sells 155000 or more...(sigh)

Hey Bob I love the site. :) The menu overhangs the main body when viewing Firefox. You should do that all in a linear or pull down menu.

lol Loved the article though, makes me want a 54’ Buick. Hey the sarcasm is right up my ally, you mind if I send you a contribution from time to time? If you don’t like it, of course don’t use it. But I may be able to pull something amusing on occasion. Great work though man I book marked it and will probably be there often.

thanks. The Wordpress is disappearing sometime in December. The new theme will address the problem of overlap. It's not really a blog anyway. Actually I'm looking for contributors to the website. The stories you send should be "newsworthy," topical if at all possible. I edit all submissions and the story becomes property of the website, although you obviously retain rights to the original submission. There's a way to eventually actually make a little money off this website, but I can discuss that with you privately. Send your private email to chiefpeon@levitynews.com. 162000 hits in November. Nuts. I can't figure out the analytics for November. Hopefully I'll be able to go over it with somebody before I switch it to the new format. I've got woodbright.net on that format. Glad you like it. I try and add more stories every month. There's going to be a membership for viewers, but I haven't figured out exactly what "benefits" I can offer. I'm mulling that over right now. The easiest way to send a story is on an Evernote app or something similar where you write stories and can send the entire story by hitting one function. I use Evernote for a lot of things, it's an amazing app. The free version is what I use.

Bob,

Email and data are hard currency in the new digital age. You really need to figure out a way to get everyone who comes to your site to give you their email address (zip would be nice too)

And you need to do that TODAY!
