Cider anyone? (new finished track from new album)

A jazzy lil ditty that i wrote and got to play everything on in the studio.
any Comments?
Critiques?
Good dirty jokes?

"Cider" ... the only track on my page... because that's all the space you get here for free

it hasn't mastered yet. because that takes moneys too... an i done have any o that

A worthy effort Hayden with some interesting ideas. I think it could still benefit from refining and polishing to get it where you want it. Several places where the instruments are a bit out of time to the point where the groove gets lost. It is fixable.

Here is a song with similar harmonic ideas that a friend recorded last year. Do an A-B comparison with yours and see if you feel the solid groove here as an example:

Thanks Johnny. I appreciate the input. The off timing is actually intentional. The tempo is in 3 different timings through the song as well.
I plan to have it mastered and that's it. Not planning to change anything really... although i have considered adding a lead

I like it... reminds me a bit of Incubus. They have a way of blending jazz chords and rock sounds cleverly.
Vocals have that Seattle doom and gloom feel about them. Fits well with the progression. You should post the lyrics with it... I'm old school I miss the album liners. :wink:
