Germany and heavy metal....like a fart

Not a scientific analysis, but does it seem like all German guitar players are into metal and pretty darn good at it?

This is a friend of mine, Walter Grund. We have co-written and recorded a few songs and I knew he liked metal but never heard him play any. He got a job creating background music for a film, and in only 3 or 4 days came up with an entire album of metal instrumentals.

Like it was as easy as drinking water for him....or as the Polish say, "like a fart"

I just thought "stodgy Germans" were the laughingstock in minstrel shows from the 1800's?

According to Steppenwolf, 'earschplittenloudenboomer' was the German name for rock and roll in the late 60s!

LOL that's pretty funny.

I heard "Born to be Wild" yesterday and realized it was probably the first use of the term "heavy metal" (thunder)
