To those of you that say Jimmy was run off....I hope you don't believe that. He is a very smart guy and I haven't seen him do anything that would warrant him getting kicked off this forum. I believe he left because he frankly is disenchanted with this site. Hey it happens to all of us at one time or another. Jimmy and I have had our differences over the years I'll say several things about him. He is a TRUE MUSICIAN in every way. I hope he comes back after a while! I believe one of the things that makes this country great are the checks and balances in politics. Differing veiwpoints coming together for the betterment of it's people! Good luck Jimmydanger

Jimmy is a beast of a musician. He has always been straight with/good to me.

I always enjoyed jimmie, great musician, helpful, thoughtful .. if mywillie could have laid off of him .. never saw the point in attacking him

And now Jimmie is gone, willie seems to have stopped posting on every single thread.

Nah, I don't think so. willie had to try real hard to be as bad as his 'music' was. That's one thing Jimmy takes seriously, his music.

well, the more i think of it... i could see jimmy pulling something like that off. what with his contempt for ill bred and poor mannered rednecks and his low tolerance for far right wing nuts.

doesn't seem too far fetched to think he'd create a goober low life w that M.O. to make a point.

It just goes on and on, if you dont respond, it stops.

Hell Im probably the biggest redneck here if you get right down to it, I dont think Jimmy had any issues with me, even thou we didnt agree on guns, we didnt agree on politics, we didnt agree on religion. But we did agree on making some decent music when we got the chance, so no I dont think Jimmy would make bad music.

I respected Jimmy first as a musician, and outside of that I respect him as a person to have his own opinions and points of view, occasionally some things he said burned me a bit, and sometimes he maybe opened my eyes a bit.

And most of all I respect the fact that he didnt do one of those grand good byes, I dont know why that just bugs the sh*t out of me, but it does, guess thats my achilles heal, if you want to leave then just f**k leave.


Heck we all need a break sometimes, I know there are times I dont get on here for a few days, maybe a week or two.

Maybe he will come back sometimes, maybe not.

the kind that irritates me (and jimmy too i suspect) are the ones that are proud of their ignence and wear it like some badge of honor.

i'll miss jimmy. i don't need to extoll his virtues and good points. even those who who crossed swords with him can attest to those.
