Guitar-synth

I had one of the original Korg MS20 synths (not the mini in the following video demo). never could get it controlled with a guitar. These guys have done it now.

The synth sat in my basement for years and one of the oscillators was junk, I eventually sold it for more than I paid back in the mid 80s.

A guitar synth designed especially to work with a guitar probably works better for what most folks would do with it anyway.

I think the new Moog guitar is a far more interesting approach, than trying to control a synth with a guitar.

The Korg MS20 never could get those great bass tones like Moogs.

Even if I didn't need the deep bass sounds I would have dumped the MS20 too
... and got a Buchla

I used a Roland guitar synth on my recording of Bolero. That was in 1996, I'm sure they have much better now.
