Absolute biggest rip off ever was Lou Reed's album: Metal Machine Music.
Literally nothing on it.

There is a lot on it .. a double album no less!
Just nothing for those who were hoping for a rock album.
Lou was in was in a band called
The Velvet Underground with
John Cale. Before that,
Cale was in
La Monte Young's band performing stuff like this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bfns-USbhJY ... in 1965, 10 years before the release of
Metal Machine Music.
Here's Lou performing
Metal Machine Music live in 2010.

The cover art wasn't great, but not that bad either.

No joke, when I saw that chick at the bottom with her hairy man legs poking out I literally almost vomited out my coffee. Who thought selling that was a good idea?

And strong hands from the looks of it! I see she's growing a stache too. Bet that's not the only thing "growing in". Well, I just gave myself nightmares...

I've been a Lou Reed fan forever and a day. I always thought he'd be proud of me and my pals - the Velvets were playing and we had tickets but got too smashed on a certain psychedelic chemical that we couldn't find the concert hall!
Metal Machine Music? No thanks. Just one long boring drone.
Since you sound like a fan here is a treat for you:

Lou Reed and Pavarotti doing "Perfect Day."
