I played 3 sets in a pick-up band situation with this young lass. Some powerful pipes for such a petite little thing. An inspiring gig.

Yep, we can all thank Whitney for that stuff. She created a generation of Yodelers. Victoria made that vid about two years ago and she has been gigging every week since. I have seen her perform before but this was the first time I played with the band. She has grown a lot over time but still retains a boatload of natural vocal talent. Standing 4'11" in heels and I am shocked by how much power she has as a singer.

It's a gas for me to join these college kids periodically who just have incredible musical gifts and watch them grow and as they gain experience.

i'd say they were lucky to have a talented and experienced musician such as yourself there to help 'em out.

and points to them for not being hung up on the whole age thing like so many younger musicians.....say, ya don't have that old person smell on yet, right?

They were very appreciative to have a solid guitarist for the gig. We had 4 players/vocalists who were in their 20s, 2 were 40s, and 2 were 50s. Youth and enthusiasm meets seasoned and experienced and this time at least it worked well.

Haha, old man stink. I know it well but I'm not there yet... When I get there I'll shower often and splash with generous doses of cheap cologne to hide it!

The other dead giveaway is the smell of "moth balls".

The clothes hang in the closet with the moth balls and that stink is immediately recognizable.

Please do not ask me if I needed a microscope to smell his balls.
I know someone is going to do it.

My grandpa had one of those suits.
I could tell it was him every time I was down wind of him, but this is off topic and for that I apologize.
