I have posted three of the new mixes, wasn't room for all four. Mike the drummer wants to remix them, he's not crazy about the kick drum sound. Still needs to be mastered too.

Herpes sounds like a new-generation Ramones tune!
Good mixes. Have to say I don't like the singer, he's not very melodic, but that's just my taste. Thanks for sharing!

Cover my eyes is the best.
Not sure about the kick drum, but the mixes could use more 'air', in my opinion.
That's good product for everything not being final Final, and un mastered.

"I Got The Herpes On Craigslist" is my favorite of the three. All good though... excellent job so far.
And the guitar tone sounds really good... as usual!

I think the kick has the right amount of punch, it might a little on the lower hertz range, but it sounds great!~

Songs sound great Jimmy, classic Farley's rock music porn. I like the hat tip to the 60s Mellow Yellow in the bridge of Herpies.
Mix??
A good balance between guitar and vocals. I agree with your drummer on the kick. It's too much woof and overshadows the bass lines. If I were in the room I might use something like this as a reference track to get in the mix ballpark and still be true to Farley's music.

So many choices, so little time. Good luck.

Hey guys thanks again for taking the time to listen and critique, it means a lot. I wish you had the CD to hear instead of MP3s, oh well. I will swap out "Herpes" for "The Route" tonight; this is the one Brion wants to use in his movie.
I hope you had a good weekend! My Marshall died Friday at the gig and I had to go home and get my B-52. I ended up jacking my back up (I have degenerative disk disease). I sometimes forget that I have it, I really shouldn't be moving all this gear.

That sucks about your Marshall (and your back). Hope it is an easy fix.

I liked the last 2 the best. The last one sounds like a 1 song cd demo thing that you get with the animated cover/fan art type thing.
"Cover Your Eyes" sounds like "Suicidal Tendencies" (imo).
The last one has the most possibilities.
Ask Rasta for a little more intensity in his voice..maybe a remix on that for the superultraorganicdestructive version. lol
Otherwise it's good.
I didn't like "I got the herpes" at all.

I like em Jimmy, dont know what I would do to make them any better to tell the truth.
Sorry about the amp and your back, my old SUNN head went out the other night, I was letting a guy use it for bass.
You guys hold it down around here for the next few days til I get back, leave out this afternoon to Frankfurt.

There's not enough stereo spread or treble. Especially on the drums. I think that's what Zip is referencing. Love your guitar work on "cover my eyes".

Thanks Paul! The songs sound great on the CD, definitely lose something going to MP3.
