September is the peak month and hurricane season doesn't end until Nov. 1st. Nature has a way of balancing these things. My prediction is the Altlantic and Gulf are going to be pretty busy the next month and half. Scientist believe that hurricanes and tropical storms are natures way of releasing stored heat in the oceans back into the atmosphere.
