CHICAGO: Looking for band members.

CHICAGO: Looking to step out of my normal circle of musicians and start jamming with some fresh players. I play guitar. I'm 23, a serious player with experience and touring and want like-minded people to play with (ideally ages 20-30). Obviously, gotta have good gear/tone, dedication, transportation ... blah blah blah all that normal stuff ... At the bottom I will post a link to my SoundCloud page and you can hear the three tracks I wrote and recorded with a few of my musician friends. Instead of me trying to "genretize" it, just listen and decide for yourself. Each song has different qualities, but I'm a very GROOVE-oriented and TONE-oriented person. If you like what you hear, send me an email with some info about you. Name, age, where you're from, band/music history, gear ... again blah blah blah ... all the normal stuff. We'll take it from there. Looking to jam around to find the right people that mesh. I have a rehearsal spot at 16th and Western (south).

Same advice offered to all newcomers here:
1) Contact info in your profile. Only premiummembers can send a message to you now. "hide" your email address in yoru 'about' section of the profile.
2) Put some music (MP3s on the player or linked videos) on your profile. No one is going to go off profile to find your soundcloud stuff.

Well, I tried to upload it to my profile page first, but it wouldn't upload. Is it that difficult to click equally as many buttons/links to hear the song as uploading it to your profile? hah ... I mean, if that's how it is around here, then I'll try again ... but otherwise ... it's not too much to click a link ... but thanks for the tip!

Well, obviously a COUPLE OF nice guys here in this forum will click on the link - BUT the casual browser who is searching though profiles (not coming to this forum) will skip right over it. It only takes a few minutes to convert music files to MP3 and upload them, and less time to link youtube videos.
