Well just got word that my old band Aint Yo Mama is booked for a halloween show, this place wanted us real bad, we gave them a hefty price so we could afford to bring our bassist in town and they agreed so its on.
LOL, makes me wish a couple of years ago we used that excuse to up our price! LOL!
Im getting busy musically, gonna jam tomorrow night and friday night, not gigs but just getting together with different folks.
So musically its all good in JW world these days.
Got divorced got a new GF, we are going to Chicago in two weeks for the Nascar race, then the end of the month, I go to Germany with my son for a couple of weeks. This GF lives a distance away and at this point is cool with me playing music, doesnt really seem to be worried about it, and doesnt really want to even come to my gigs which is fine with me, Im ussually too busy to entertain a GF anyway.

Sounds great Johnny! Yeah, gigs are not dates. I tell my wife she is free to come, but I won't be hovering around her; there's a lot more going on than just playing music at a gig. I need to try to talk to everyone who wants to chat. And there's drinking that needs to get done!

Haley Im digging the new Ibanez.
When I bought it, it was tuned to standard tuning, I brought it home, and tuned it to E flat, well it wouldnt hold tune, so I took it to my tech guy and he set up and its really nice to stay in tune.
Im very very tempted to go back to GC with a couple of guitars I dont need and make a trade for either the EVH Guitar or Jackson has one thats endorsed by the dude from Iron Maiden. I want another locking trem guitar in the collection, LOL, if I get the EVH then I will have to video Eruption, LOL!
Jimmy Ive always tryed to explain to any gal Ive been involved with that when I play music its a job, like you said its not a date, some just dont understand that side of it.

LOL, Haley Im not wanting that one, actually they have a lower priced one, in the $800 range. $1000 is my limit to pay for a guitar, otherwise I would be buying that Axxis Les Paul with the locking trem.
I had been playing the Ibanez the last few days, so last night I plugged Pagey in, my favorite Les Paul, its amazing how much more dynamic and just out right loud my LP is compared to the Ibanez. I didnt change my amp just switched and hell it seems about 20db louder! I got the frets leveled on Pagey and had a really good setup done, and shes playing better than ever.
Man I love my guitars, they just sing to me!

Pagey is the one in the picture to the left for anyone that cares.
I probably play that guitar, 60% of the time. Last night i was looking around the house and I have 20 guitars and basses sitting around.
