So this is off topic, but what the hell...

I'm not gonna lie, I'm getting rather pumped up for the climax of Breaking Bad.
Anyone else addicted?

Growing up, I was never really into TV shows as a series as much as I am now. LOST got to me as well.

What is everyone watching these days??

I don't watch much TV, too busy. But my daughter loves BB and MadMen, she's always trying to get me to watch it. She bought me the first couple of seasons on DVD for Christmas, never watched them.

I can't find anything on TV that captivates my interest these days. All the phony reality crap is mindless drivel to me and the series are not my forte. I don't want to have to tune in to see the next installment of something that isn't that interesting to begin.

Recently the "ME" channel has been broadcasting really old TV programs. It's like having the movie channel where you get to see the same old tired movies run month after month year after year. Just like having cable TV for free without the hassle of wearing out your remote to go through hundreds of channels of crap that isn't worth watching. Yeah, old drivel is still boring drivel, but it's better drivel than todays drivel. At least it isn't someones neighbors making fools of themselves for a national audience of peeping Toms.

No TV is good TV. It's not much more than a way to piss away your life. Now you probably get the feeling that I don't like TV. Not so. It has a purpose. I watch it to punish my brain from time to time when I have evil thoughts. :)

I got rid of my TV as well. However, I've heard much good about this program and it's on my list at Netflix to watch if I ever get a block of time to do so.

No TV . . . I get enough promotion of violence and sexual immorality just walking through Wal-Mart.

When my wife gave me the heave ho I rented a house and got my Comcast setup. The internet pretty much came with cable and the house had a wide screen TV in the basement I could use. After four months of paying for cable I realized I'd not even connected it yet! Adios TV...

I make up for missing the cultural attack on my psyche by reading a lot of Zombie books.

I will agree with you guys in that MOST TV does suck... but I'm a big sports nut, so I enjoy having a vast choice of things to watch with that.
Favorite channels would be the Game Show Network... because watching people fail miserably at game shows with insane amounts of free money on the line makes me feel good about my own intelligence.
I always said that if I could be on any game show, past or present, it would be Supermarket Sweep.
Do you guys remember that?

I swear, every time I go grocery shopping, I think of that. I just want to lose it one day and pretend like I'm on it.
